Most developers rely on Git for version control. But what if you need to track or commit an empty folder? There's a workaround that Git hasn't officially adopted, but it gets the job done.Standard practice: Add a `.gitkeep` file to empty folders. This feature isn't unique to Git! You can name it anything you want. The name `.gitkeep` isn't inherently special – for instance, some developers use `.gitignore` instead.`.gitignore` can be confusing when you want to make git include a file in your branch.

My professional journey kicked off with C#, MsSQL, and Asp .Net. My first job unexpectedly switched me to core PHP, MySql, and CMS like Wordpress and Joomla. At my next gig, I dived into NodeJs, Angular, MongoDB, and AWS.I'm on the hunt for a great opportunity. Ready to switch to Go, Rust, or React, Azure if needed.Honestly, the programming language doesn't matter as much as happy customers using and loving your product.Don't get attached to just one framework or programming language.Base knowledge matters most. Syntax varies, but a while loop works the same across languages.Continue to expand your knowledge because the journey of learning is endless.

Why Tech-Meetups Can Be Your Ticket to Success?Last Saturday, I had the chance to attend an FOSS event at DIT University in Dehradun FOSS United Dehradun. It was my first time at an FOSS event, and it proved to be a valuable learning experience. I was amazed to discover more than just Dockers in the realm of DevOps and Containerization - I learned about Unikernels.I also delved into the world of load balancers, exploring different types and even witnessing the creation of a minimal version of a load balancer live using Rust language. Thanks to all the speakers - Riya Bisht, @Dhananjay Sendey, and Deepraj Baidya for organizing this event.Overall, it was an enriching experience. I encourage all tech enthusiasts in Dehradun to join such events as it can enhance your networking skills and provide opportunities to learn new and exciting things.#FOSS #Meetup #Dehradun

I recently shipped a product without writing tests, now I am worried whether the product is bug-free. I wish I would have written tests for my app. Lessons learned - Write tests for your code.
