Make Vegetables for Kids More Fun!

So, I’ve said it over and over again: my kids are PICKY EATERS. Well, my older two (ages 5 and 7) are coming along and trying new foods now. But my toddler is currently king ofpicky eater-town. So I am no expert on kids’ nutrition. And apparently I’m not the only one; According to Birds Eye‘s State of the Plate Report, 9 out of 10 people in the United States do not get the proper amount of vegetables. So Birds Eyeis teaming up withcelebrity chef and host of the Food Network’s The Picky Eaters Project, Melissa d’Arabian, to get kids eating more veggies. Frozen Birds EyeVegetables are my go-to here in our home, because they’re convenient and always fresh. My new favorite way to serve them is with leftover ham chunks and cut up string cheese on a skewer. The kids get a kick out of their Ham and Veggie Kabobs! I love that they are eating healthy, andI love supporting a company that is so involved in helping moms and their kids eat healthier, too.

Birds Eye continues to make eating more vegetables a reality by showing families how to fill half the plate with veggies in fun and simple ways moms and kids will both like. By providing moms with more than 40 unique vegetable blends year round at affordable prices, Birds Eye continues to be her ally in the dinnertime dilemma.
