Pearl had been part of the community known as hermitcraft. She quite enjoyed living here, there were many beautiful buildings from the eight years this community had been standing. She only joined a few months ago but they all made her feel part of their community. A hermit like they called themselves. She could never get over the feeling that she was getting watched, by someone familiar. She had joined this community while looking for her brothers. After their community of evo was abandoned, pearl wanted them to stay together but her brother, Grian always did watch whatever the watchers needed him to. That's what led them to creating evo to get away from the suffering of the watchers. Pearl hadn’t seen her parents in years after she and Jimmy ran away to search for their brother. Their parents had been involved in that cult since she was born.
Grian was the oldest sibling out of the three, Pearl was the middle and Jimmy was the youngest. She had kept in contact with Jimmy who was in a community called Empire, though her communicator could not get through as of a month ago. She could feel eyes on her as she was fixing her window, pearl looked around and saw a hermit she had never seen. Pearl turned to hermit and felt as if she had seen him before. Pearl ignored him and focused on her windows.
Grian was the one standing there, he was examining Pearl. She felt very familiar but he had no memory of her, Grian could feel his communicator going off and checked it. He thought it was just the watchers but it was a hermit of the name scar. Grian grew quite close with scar, he was one of the hermits that Grian could tolerate. Though he was always taught not to get close to them, it was useful to get insight on other hermits. It was always quite delightful listening to him ramble about his fascination with Star wars.
Would he consider it a crush? No, of course not! That was only a feeling morons got. Right? Grian disregarded any feeling that was a sign of a crush for that vex. Though it was nice seeing so many non-human people in the community. Grian was a Pheasant, a type of poultry known for cannibal instincts. Well not openly known for, it did make him understand his craving for human flesh. It didn’t help explain it though and of course the watchers didn’t explain it to him.
Maybe one day he’d understand it.
Maybe he won’t.
Who knows?
But I suppose we shouldn’t focus on these two only.

This story started off wrong. A story needs a backstory and that is where all of this began.
Grian was the first sibling of the three. Grian wasn’t necessarily taken care of with love, he was only there for his parents' public image. He was taken care of by his familys’ butler till his teen years. He was shipped off to Japan to see his online friends, Sam and Taurtis. That part of his life is another story for another time. Pearl was the second child of the family, She was to distract the public from the disappearance of Grian in the family’s image. She was more useful in her parents eyes than Grian. Jimmy was the last and youngest child. He was born to cover up cheating scandals that popped up about their mother. Though the rumors were true about her, they needed a good reputation. She cheated with another rich company man, this ended up with the siblings’ stepsister, Lizzie.
Every kid was just to cover up scandal over scandal. Their parents were part of a cult, they worshiped a fictional but real creature named the watchers and listeners. Their mothers’ name was Genevieve Collins and their fathers’ is Perseus Batchelor. Genevieve and Perseus met through their cult, this is what got them together. The watchers needed more children in the cult due to children being easy-minded, So Genevieve and Perseus decided to marry then have children to appease the Watchers.
After a few years of saving and when they could drive. Pearl and Jimmy decided to try and find Grian. Once they did, the siblings started a community called evo that only lasted a year. Grian’s friend from Japan named Taurtis, joined their community. The Evo community started falling apart when the watchers came back into the siblings' lives. Once for Taurtis causing him to disappear often. The second time was when they came for Grian and their cousin Martyn. The last time was when the community got abandoned due to the watchers coming for Pearl, Jimmy and their friend Anthony who was called Bigb.
That was the last time Pearl and Jimmy saw Grian. They didn’t know where he went or where he was. In the present day they still don’t.
